May 11, 2024-Meixin successfully provided a ropeless tail threading system for a corrugated paper machine owned by China Haiyang Paper Machinery Co., Ltd. The paper machine has a paper width of 4450mm and operates at a speed of 650 meters per minute, primarily producing corrugated paper of 50-80 g/m². The ropeless tail threading system supplied by Meixin for this project has effectively improved the paper machine's operational efficiency, tail threading stability, and production safety.

1. Ropeless Tail Threading

Function：In traditional papermaking production, the tail threading rope system has long exhibited numerous drawbacks-low threading efficiency, frequent rope detachment and severe wear, and issues with speed differentials that easily lead to web breaks during threading, resulting in prolonged and frequent downtime, seriously affecting the stability of the paper machine's operation and product quality. Particularly on medium to high-speed paper machines, traditional tail threading methods have become a bottleneck restricting production efficiency.

Meixin's ropeless tail threading system adopts fully automatic tail threading technology, eliminating the traditional threading rope approach. Through precise automatic control and air-assisted technology, it enables rapid and stable transfer of the paper web from the press section to the dryer section, and from the dryer section to the reel section. The system can be applied across the entire machine from the wet end to the reel, suitable for all paper grades and machine speeds. Compared with traditional tail threading rope systems, the ropeless tail threading system significantly shortens tail threading time and greatly improves paper machine operating efficiency.
