May 8, 2026-Meixin successfully provided key equipment solutions for Yangjia Environmental Technology Co., Ltd.'s 4400mm fireworks paper production line. The paper machine operated at a speed of 900 m/min, mainly producing high-grade fireworks paper with a basis weight of 150-240 g/m². Meixin supplied the dryer fabric cleaner, water jet reel turn up system, and dry end water knife, helping the customer achieve clean production, efficient turn-up, and stable tail threading.

1. Dryer Fabric Cleaner
Function:
During the papermaking process, dryer fabrics were prone to clogging by stickies, adhesives, and other contaminants, leading to reduced permeability, decreased drying efficiency, and even paper web breaks, marks, press marks, and holes. The Meixin PF·Clean intelligent dryer fabric cleaner featured an innovative design.
The cleaning head was installed in the wrap angle area between the dryer fabric and guide roller, maintaining a precise gap from the fabric surface
High-pressure water nozzles sprayed at a specific angle to loosen and strip off surface contaminants
Front and rear air knives assisted in blowing off loosened contaminants, while a vacuum extraction system discharged them outside the machine
An external air knife thoroughly removed residual moisture after cleaning

2. Water Jet Reel Turn Up System
Function:
The Meixin high-pressure water jet reel turn up system was designed for high-safety and high-efficiency turn-up operations. The system beam was mounted on the upper part of the reel, with an ultra-high-pressure water generation system providing a stable high-pressure water source. Two cutting water jet heads moved at high speed to cut a paper tail, while simultaneously spraying an appropriate amount of adhesive onto the tail, allowing it to accurately adhere to the new spool, achieving smooth transfer of the full paper width.

Fully automatic turn-up maximized operator safety and eliminated entanglement risks
Turn-up time was extremely short, with a flat and wrinkle-free bottom on the new reel, resulting in minimal waste paper
The turn-up success rate approached 100%, effectively improving paper yield by 0.5%-3%

The system was applicable to various paper grades including corrugated paper, kraft paper, linerboard, whiteboard, coated paper, cultural paper, and tissue paper, and suited nearly all machine speeds

3. Dry End Water Knife
The Meixin dry end water knife achieved neat edge cutting and stable, reliable tail threading operations. The equipment featured electric automatic positioning for safe and reliable operation. It was equipped with a movable handwheel that could be moved horizontally manually or electrically. The carriage moved smoothly, ensuring stable paper tail and cutting consistency. High-pressure water jet cutting produced no flying paper scraps, met the tail threading requirements of high-speed paper machines, and featured convenient, time-saving, and labor-saving operation.
In this cooperation, the three systems provided by Meixin optimized dryer fabric cleaning, turn-up efficiency, and tail threading stability respectively. They effectively helped Yangjia Environmental Technology reduce the incidence of breaks and paper defects, improve drying efficiency and paper yield, while minimizing manual intervention and chemical usage, providing reliable technical support for the stable production of high-grade fireworks paper.

Through this collaboration, the high-speed, wide-width packaging paper machine under China Kunzheng Machinery Technology has achieved an automated, safer, and leaner upgrade in the reel change process. Paper tape reel turn up system of Meixin, with its extremely high success rate and extremely low waste paper rate, helps customers improve overall operating efficiency and product yield, providing a solid foundation for the efficient and stable production of high-quality packaging paper.
