 China Hongqi Paper Mill

 Meixin successfully supplied a dryer fabric cleaning system and a vacuum roll cleaning system for a medium-to-large paper machine at China Hongqi Paper Mill. The machine has paper width of 4,400 mm and operates at speed of up to 400 m/min, primarily producing coated whiteboard paper with basis weights ranging from 230 to 390 g/m².

The two cleaning systems supplied by Meixin are designed to maintain consistent sheet quality, and enhance overall production stability.

1. Dryer Fabric Cleaning System:

During coated whiteboard paper production, tacky contaminants, fillers, and other deposits from the stock can accumulate on the dryer fabric surface. These deposits progressively reduce fabric air permeability and drying efficiency, potentially leading to web breaks, streaks, indentations, pinholes, and other paper defects that compromise product quality and production efficiency.

For this project, Meixin installed its PF·Clean Intelligent Dryer Fabric Cleaning System.

Equipped with high-efficiency cleaning heads, the system is installed in the wrap zone between the dryer fabric and a guide roll, maintaining an appropriate clearance from the fabric. High-pressure water jets are directed at a specific angle to loosen and dislodge contaminants from the fabric surface. Front and rear air knives assist in lifting and dislodging the deposits, while a vacuum extraction system removes the contaminants from the paper machine. An additional air knife then removes residual moisture from the cleaned fabric.

 2. Vacuum Roll Cleaning:

During papermaking, vacuum roll holes can become blocked by accumulated fibers, fillers, tacky contaminants, and other deposits. This can reduce dewatering efficiency, destabilize wet-end operation, and increase the frequency of web breaks. In severe cases, the paper machine may need to be shut down for manual cleaning, resulting in lost production time.

Meixin's vacuum roll cleaning system is specifically designed to keep vacuum roll holes clear. It performs cleaning while the paper machine is running, helping to reduce hole blockage and maintain consistent vacuum roll performance.

The dryer fabric cleaning and vacuum roll cleaning systems supplied by Meixin to China Hongqi Paper Mill address critical cleaning requirements across both the wet end and the dryer section of the paper machine.

The dryer fabric cleaning system tackles fabric contamination associated with coated whiteboard paper production, helping maintain drying efficiency and consistent sheet quality.
