China Xianhe Specialty Pulp & Paper Mill

May 23, 2022-Meixin successfully provided a high-pressure water jet reel turn-up system for a small-to-medium-sized thermal base paper machine owned by China Xianhe Specialty Pulp & Paper Mill. The paper machine has a paper width of 2900mm and operates at a speed of 350-500 meters per minute, primarily producing thermal base paper of 30-85 g/m². The water jet reel turn-up system supplied by Meixin for this project has comprehensively improved the paper machine's transfer efficiency, finished paper yield, and production safety.

1. Water Jet Reel Turn-up System:

Meixin's high-pressure water jet reel turn-up system's beam is installed above the reel. An ultra-high-pressure water generation system produces high-pressure water, which is ejected as high-quality cutting water jets through ultra-high-pressure nozzles. The transfer beam is equipped with two sets of water jet heads. The water jets move at high speed to cut a paper tip while spraying an appropriate amount of adhesive, allowing the paper tip to quickly adhere to the new reel spool for high-quality reel change. The transfer process is completed in an instant, with the paper web smoothly transferred without wrinkles and with minimal waste paper.
